About

I am the sole owner and luthier of Robt. C. Morrow Guitars.

I’ve also been a professional educator, teaching high school science for the past 38 years.

For over two decades, I spent my summers building handmade furniture before turning my focus to becoming a luthier of fine guitars.

My passion for guitars began in college with my first instrument—a Sigma DR-28. Years later, my wife Polly gave me a Martin HD-28v as a gift to celebrate the birth of our son.

After many visits to the C. F. Martin Guitar & Co. factory and extensive research into vintage guitars, I deepened my understanding of lutherie. In 2010, I applied that knowledge to build my first prototype acoustic guitars for personal use.

Robt. C. Morrow guitars are inspired by vintage Martin instruments from the early 20th century and are handcrafted using only the finest tone woods and materials.
